Aileen has been a writer for as long as she can remember, and her love of words spans across all genres and formats. She started out writing fan fiction and short stories, and she began participating in National Novel Writing Month when she was fifteen. She has written the screenplays for most of the films she has directed and also enjoys dabbling in poetry, interactive fiction, and creative nonfiction.

Aileen also has a passion for making the words of other writers shine, and she regularly works as a copyeditor and proofreader.
